Content of the workshop (Information provided by vendor):

In this day faced with the COVID-19 virus, architects and building owners have had to re-evaluate social distance in the programming of their building spaces. With Revit's latest release you get generative design to help accomplish this challenging task efficiently and fast. This is a follow-on workshop after the previous "Fighting Covid-19 with BIM" webinar.  It will cover:

  • How to use the latest "path of travel" tools in Revit to safely layout out route designs.
  • How to design spatial layouts that take into account social distancing of different values in different buildings.
  • Discover the fundamental principles of the spatial relationships of passageways and doors to ensure safe distancing.
  • How to transfer your Revit model into a people-movement simulation package to simulate pedestrian flow.

Speakers:

  • Ms. Carol POON, Technical Manager, AEC Industry, Autodesk
  • Mr. Ken LEE, Technical Manager, Synnex Technology Int'l (HK) Ltd

An electronic copy of CPD attendance certificate will be issued to qualified participants after the workshop.
