Please note that all visitors must complete a health declaration form, take body temperature and wear masks before entering CIC premises. Visitors who have a body temperature higher than 37 degrees Celsius, not wearing masks, or have been to the countries/areas with outbreaks of COVID-19 in the past 14 days (Details are in accordance with the updated health quarantine announcements by Centre for Health Protection), are not allowed to enter the CIC premises. For details of the latest CHP updates, please refer to: www.chp.gov.hk Food and drinks (except water) are not allowed in the CIC BIM Space. The CIC BIM Advanced Workshop aims at enhancing practitioners' BIM skill level by providing hands-on opportunities on different BIM related software. This time, we are pleased to have isBIM Limited in supporting our BIM Advanced Workshop. Content of the workshop (Information provided by vendor): Learning how to navigate and use another BIM software is, let's be honest, a major learning curve. What if you could track and respond to your issues directly inside of Navisworks & Revit? Optimize your design and constructability communication with BIM Track. It will share the optimal issue resolution workflow, working with maximal context in your day-to-day software. See how simple it is to: Create BIM Track issues directly from your Navisworks clashes. View and respond to assigned issues within Revit. Manage Revit and Navisworks Viewpoints in the cloud. Create issues in Revit. Automatically generate issue and clash spheres in Revit, Navisworks or Viewer. Share project issues, viewpoints, and models with project stakeholders using just a browser. Obtain single-click project metrics & reports for Design Review Reporting. Speaker:Mr. Rex LAU, Director of isBIM Limited An electronic copy of CPD attendance certificate will be issued to qualified participants after the workshop. For registration, please send email to bimspace@cic.hk and state with your preferred workshop date, name, organisation, contact number and email address. Please feel free to contact Ms. LI at 3199 7274 for any enquiry. Confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.

BIM Solution Day

CIC Webinar on BIM Solution Day (Glodon - Hong Kong) - Enhance Construction Productivity by 5DBIM with E-tender & Lightweight CDE Platform

11/08/2021 | 15:30 – 17:00

The "BIM Solution Day" aims at promoting the latest BIM-related solutions to stakeholders. Every time, we have a different theme to introduce stakeholders about the latest solutions in a particular area. We are glad to have the participation of Glodon (Hong Kong). Content of the webinar: Section one - Cubicost - The True BIM QTO Solution and the Possibility of E-tendering with BIM The brand-new solutions of Cubicost TIO enables direct import of Revit models for QTO purpose. With embedded calculation rules and flexible adjustments (local SMM series), it can fit all project requirements for both general and local private sector. Strong compatibility allowing import of Revit models from 2014 to 2021 version, greatly enhance the productivity by better file management and lower cost for BIM software purchase. And the possibility to integrate with the tendering platform shows the great potential to align with DEVB’s Technical Circular in terms of the "ultimate goal" of E-tendering of BIM. Section Two: The Lightweight CDE Platform Provided by Glodon Aligning with the CIC BIM Standard and Allowing Private Cloud Deployment The CDE platform provided by Glodon supports light-weighting of cost BIM model for instant review anytime, anywhere. Live quantity report facilitates the detailed quantity check. Add marks and comments on models directly to better communicate with different parties to achieve a better construction quality with fewer rework and lower construction cost. Speaker: Ms. Katie CHEN, Senior Account Manager of Glodon (Hong Kong) Remarks: An electronic copy of CPD attendance certificate will be issued to participants with over 80% attendance within one month after the live webinar.
