Introduction | Registration for CIC-Certified BIM Coordinator (Associate) | Certification and Accreditation

In late 2022, CIC conducted a holistic review on the supply and demand model of BIM personnel and a White Paper was then compiled to report the findings and to develop strategic plans on BIM personnel development.
One of the key recommendations of the White Paper is to add a new tier of practitioners, CCBC (Associate) or CCBC(A), which was opened for applications from 22 March 2023.
Application fee will be waived for the applications submitted on or before 31 December 2023. (HKD$500 application fee is required for the applications submitted starting 1 January 2024)

Practitioners who are registered as a CIC-Certified BIM Coordinator (Associate) (CCBC(A)) and have performed his/her BIM coordination work under the supervision of their BIM mentor for at least two years, are eligible to submit CCBC applications through BIM Mentor Route.
