Application Fee and Procedure

Certiﬁcation of BIM Coordinators (CCBC)

Eligibility

The Certiﬁcation of BIM Coordinators is targeted at BIM practitioners who wish to be certiﬁed by CIC as BIM coordinators.
Applicants who already have relevant practical experience in BIM projects, meet the relevant academic requirement and have completed a CIC-Accredited BIM Coordinator Course.

The applicant visits www.bim.cic.hk and read the application guideline.

The applicant prepares and submits the application form with supporting documents and an application fee.

Application of Certiﬁcation of BIM Coordinators (CCBC) [Online Form]

Application fee: HK$1,000 HK$500

(Valid from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2025)

CIC verifies application.

Application of Certiﬁcation of BIM Coordinators (CCBC)

Assessment panel conducts assessment (Interview maybe required).

CIC notifies the applicant of the result.

Renewal of registration by successful applicant every year (Continuing Professional Development required).

CCBC: 12 BIM-related CPD hours and renewal fee

HK$500 HK$250
