To enhance smart construction and enhance building project delivery processes, Government has been encouraging a wider adoption of MiC, which is an innovation construction method under the DfMA approach. Join the webinar to understand more about this new BIM workflow, from Design to Assemble. We have a demonstration to show the workflow by using Revit and Inventor. The BIM Guide in Generation of MEP Digital Drawings for Statutory Submissions (2021) was published last year to provide the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) industry with a recommended common language and good practice to prepare and generate necessary MEP drawings for statutory submissions effectively and efficiently through BIM. In 2020, the DEVB and CIC had conducted a holistic review and planning of BIM training for the construction industry in Hong Kong. It was estimated that the demand of BIM Viewer would be around 17,000 persons by 2025. To cope with the surged demand of BIM personnel, the CIC launched the "Teaching and Learning Kit" (the "Kit") for BIM viewers on 20 October 2021. More than 2,500 individuals have completed the online training package and received BIM Viewer Certificates. In this webinar, representatives of the CIC share the latest updates of the Teaching and Learning Kit. Industry stakeholders will be invited to share their organisations' experiences and progress on BIM training in the panel discussion session.
