CIC Webinar on How an Effective CDE can Streamline Contractual BIM Workflows (只提供英文版本)
22/09/2026 | 16:00 - 17:00
Construction Digitalisation Webinar aims at promoting the latest construction digitalisation-related information to stakeholders. Every time, we have a different theme to introduce stakeholders about the latest information or solutions in a particular area. We are glad to have the participation of Transcendence Company Limited to introduce their solution. Outline of the webinar (information provided by vendor): A Common Data Environment (CDE), also known as a Common Data Collaboration Platform (CDCP), is at the heart of effective BIM implementation, providing a centralised environment for managing, sharing and coordinating BIM models, drawings and project information. With the introduction of“Contractual BIM”under Development Bureau Technical Circular (Works) No. 1/2025, designated BIM models may form part of the contract documents. Effective model management has therefore become increasingly critical, particularly in relation to approval control, information traceability, revision history and accountability. Project teams need an integrated platform that connects BIM workflows with essential document and drawing management processes, including technical submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), reviews and approvals. This webinar will introduce Transtrack CDE - an integrated platform for BIM, document and drawing management—and demonstrate how it can help streamline contractual BIM workflows. Key capabilities to be presented include live BIM model workflow, online clash detection and issue management, controlled review and approval workflows, and comprehensive audit trails. The webinar will also showcase how AI-powered functions can enhance document and drawing classification, retrieval and management, supporting more efficient collaboration, better decision-making and stronger contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Speakers: Mr. Simon NG – Chief Digital Officer, Transcendence Company Limited Mr. Will GUAN – Digital Solution Manager, Transcendence Company Limited Mr. Jackal LEUNG – Assistant BIM Engineer, Transcendence Company Limited Should you have any queries, please contact Ms. Julia LI (email: [email protected]). Remarks: An electronic copy of CPD attendance certificate will be issued to participants with over 80% attendance within one month after the live webinar. Any attendance on replay sessions after webinar will not be considered for CPD attendance certificate. Replay video is now exclusive for i-Club members, please click here to join i-Club.

CIC Webinar on Generative AI-Driven Engineering Design Methods and Applications (只提供英文版本)
14/07/2026 | 15:30 - 16:30
Construction Digitalisation Webinar aims to promote the latest construction digitalisation-related information to stakeholders. Every time, we have a different theme to introduce stakeholders to the latest information or solutions in a particular area. We are glad to have the research team from Tsinghua University and Hemu AI Structure participate in introducing their solution. Outline of the webinar (information provided by vendor): Generative AI-driven intelligent engineering design is a critical component of intelligent construction. To address key challenges in conventional engineering design, such as heavy reliance on manual experience, high cross-disciplinary coordination costs, and low efficiency in design iteration, this webinar will systematically introduce generative AI-enabled intelligent design methodologies and state-of-the-art applications across multiple engineering scenarios, including building structures, earth-rock dams, fire protection systems, bridges, and photovoltaic support structures.Based on diffusion models, generative adversarial networks, graph neural networks, and multimodal large language models, the research proposes an integrated data–knowledge–mechanics learning framework. The framework incorporates implicit empirical knowledge extracted from engineering drawings, explicit constraints from design codes and standards, and mechanical performance indicators into the generative workflow, enabling a closed-loop design pipeline that integrates schematic generation, performance verification, and optimization iteration. For residential building structures, the system can automatically perform component layout, section sizing, and model generation. For earth-rock dams, it supports zoning layout generation and stability evaluation. Furthermore, StructureClaw adopts an agent-based architecture to orchestrate drawing recognition, cloud-based generative modeling, and performance assessment using professional engineering software. Engineering case studies demonstrate that the AI-generated design results are comparable to expert-level designs and can meet practical engineering requirements. The proposed approach significantly improves design efficiency, code compliance, and engineering reliability. Speaker: Prof. LU Xinzheng, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Tsinghua University Should you have any queries, please contact Ms.
