Building Information Modelling (BIM) is reshaping the construction industry, and taking the industry to the digital era. Recently, BIM has been adopted by more and more construction projects while gap still exists between researchers and practitioners. Construction Industry Council (CIC) is organising the "BIM Talks x Research Forum" for local researchers to share their latest BIM research achievements, and local practitioners to share their real-life application experience of BIM. Through this event, practitioners and academics could exchange their views on research needs and explore ways for tighter collaboration in the future BIM research.
